I have been working at Georgelas Financial Service Corporation since the age of 5. Luckily my skills have progressed and I am no longer "organizing the magazines on the table" and "fetching files." Growing up at the office gave me the amazing opportunity to learn from my father and follow in his footsteps in creating our business today. I have had my insurance license since 2000.
I am a University of Utah Ute , having graduated with a B.S. degree in Parks, Recreation & Tourism. While at the University of Utah , I danced on the Crimson Line, which gave me the opportunity to travel with the athletic department. I completed this degree with an emphasis on Recreation Therapy where I am still involved on the board of the Utah Recreation Therapy Association. I still hold a Utah license and National Certification as a recreation therapist where I get the opportunity to help people enjoy life to the fullest and never forget what it feels like to play.
I have had countless opportunities to perform locally and internationally. I have sang and danced in numerous productions with the Hale Center Theatre, Lagoon Amusement park and other local venues. I have performed with artists such as the Beach Boys, Sawyer Brown & Kurt Bestor. I have performed at venues including the Orange Bowl, 2002 Winter Olympics, Rose Wagner Theatre, Chinese American Storm Tour and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Conferences. I still pursue any audition that crosses my path.
I spent my vacations as a child exploring the mountains of Utah . Our family vacations were always taken during every major hunting season. I was the only girl in hunters safety and usually the first to be up in the morning with my "orange attire" on and my thermos of coffee to hit the mountain side. My favorite trips were our weekend getaways where we would load up the motorcycles and ATV’s for exciting riding. We would pack a lunch and fishing poles and go all day through muddy riverbeds, up boulder-filled mountains, around trails of sage brush and over mounds of sand! My heaven is having my 2 best friends, Ty & Sharmane (my Border Collie/Aussie's) snuggle in my lap near the side of a campfire. |
